Shop Rates

Returns a list of objects containing rate information for every available final mile carrier and service for a simplified Shipment request. Unlike Check Rates, which lets Tusk automatically choose the best carrier and service on your behalf, Shop Rates returns every matching Rate so you can compare your options and choose one yourself.

Request confirmation for this shipment. Options are: NONE, SIGNATURE, ADULT_SIGNATURE. Defaults to NONE if not specified. A surcharge might apply.

ship_date

Format YYYY-MM-DD. Date the carrier is expected to receive the parcel. Required to get estimated_delivery_date.

address_from

Origin address. This address will be used to match to a configured location.

Slug indicating a specific final mile carrier to check a rate for. If omitted, Tusk will return the rate for the carrier it would select automatically.

final_mile_carrier_service

Slug indicating a specific service level to filter to. Can be provided independently of final_mile_carrier — results will still be filtered to this service level even if final_mile_carrier is not specified.

final_mile_carrier_inject_location

string

Slug indicating a specific injection location (facility) to filter to. Can be provided independently of final_mile_carrier — results will still be filtered to this injection location even if final_mile_carrier is not specified.

address_to_is_residential

boolean

Flag indicating whether the destination address is residential. If omitted, it is assumed to be true.
